And if you are (/planning to be) a Disneyland Paris Annual Passholder, you will have access to both parks (with valid reservations).
Which Disneyland Paris Park is Better for Rides?
If you’re only after the rides, Disneyland Park in Paris still has the edge. Not only is there 19+ rides in Disneyland Paris, it is a well-rounded lineup.
From classic rides with no height requirements from “it’s a small world” and Peter Pan’s Flight to roller coasters with loops (namely Hyperspace Mountain and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril), there’s truly something for everyone.

Which Disney Park is Best for Shows & Meeting Characters?Â
Luckily, you can watch some stage shows and meet characters at both Disneyland Paris parks.
Here’s some shows you can watch at Disney Adventure World:
- Frozen: A Musical Invitation
- Stitch Live!
- TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure
- Mickey and the Magician
You can also see those shows at Disneyland Park:
- The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands
- Mickey’s PhilarMagic
Please be aware that certain shows can take breaks throughout the year, so be sure to check which shows are available ahead of your visit.
Generally, it’s easiest to meet Pixar and Marcel characters at Walt Disney Studios, and more traditional characters (think Princesses, The Lion King characters for example) at Disneyland Park. But this is subject to change.
Overall, Disneyland Park has the edge in this category, as they also have the nighttime show: Disney Tales of Magic – with fireworks and projections, as well as a parade, Disney Stars on Parade.

Once again, Disneyland Park is also better for shopping. According to the DLP website, there’s 35+ shops in Disneyland Park (including photograph stores).
