Absolutely!

Whilst the celebrations aren’t as widespread or over-the-top as Christmas, Halloween is definitely celebrated big at Disney World!

The most common celebration is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (a special-ticketed event at Magic Kingdom taking place on select nights August 15th, 2025 – October 31st, 2025).

But if you’re not going to the Disney World Halloween party, don’t worry.

Depending on your Disney World tickets, you’ll be able to see these decorations anyway (more on this later).

Magic Kingdom is the only park with lots of Halloween decorations during Autumn.

The decor starts outside the entrance of Magic Kingdom.

You’ll most decorations on Main Street, U.S.A. with:

Mickey pumpkins on streetlights (make sure to visit Magic Kingdom at night and you can see them glowing!)
Pumpkin statues and scarecrows!

The decorations are similar year to year, but they are always perfect to get into the Autumn spirit.

Where else should you go at Magic Kingdom during the Halloween season?

Haunted Mansion is the perfect ride during this season.

Although it doesn’t get a Festive makeover like Haunted Mansion at Disneyland (which becomes Haunted Mansion Holiday), there’s nothing more fitting than a slightly spooky ride at Halloween.

Magic Kingdom’s signature event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, is when Disney World Halloween decorations get the after-dark treatment.

Do Other Parks Have Disney World Halloween Decorations?

You’ll see a lot of talk online about Magic Kingdom’s Halloween takeover, but what about the other Disney World parks?

EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom don’t have their own colossal Halloween displays, unfortunately.

Who knows? Maybe that will change in the future. But if we’re basing this on what’s happened previously, Disney World’s other three parks won’t be getting Halloween decorations this year.

You don’t go all the way to Disney World to squint at decorations from the back of a crowd, right?

Here’s how I maximize every autumn detail and avoid the common mistakes that can leave others feeling rushed or underwhelmed.

Timing: Catch the Decorations at Their Best

It seems obvious, but seeing the right decorations at the right time can make or break your Halloween park day. Not all hours—and not all days—are created equal! Here’s what’s worked for me:

Early morning for Main Street, U.S.A. The crowds are thinner, and you’re not fighting through swarms of people for that Mickey pumpkin selfie. Consider setting that alarm, grabbing a coffee, and walking right down the middle of Main Street before peak rush.
Golden hour in the parks. Right around sunset, you can enjoy the decorations starting to glow before it’s officially nighttime.
After dark for atmosphere. Some displays don’t hit their stride until the sun sets—look for lit-up pumpkins!

And—avoid weekends and holiday weeks if you can. Not only are more locals and tourists in the parks, but photo ops can turn into a waiting game.
